SWEET TOOTH

I've been staying in the hospital for three days now and it's really sucking the life out of me.

It's a good thing that I can finally do something fun. So for my comeback post, I would be blabbing about my previous trip to an eat-all-you-can dessert buffet.

After a very stressful week in school, my friends planned to unwind by heading to Love Desserts located in Banawe, Quzon City right after our last class. Since I was in the mood for some sugar rush, I decided to tag along. It took us two jeepney rides from UST and a bit of walking.

When we reached the restaurant, it was jam-packed so we had to wait for more or less two hours just to get in. The place was quite small and it did not have any proper holding area so it was really disappointing.

But when our turn came, we all cheered like little kids because our tummies were already going crazy. Upon entering, this is what welcomed us:

WOAH.

I have never seen so much desserts in just one table. But that's not all! For only two hundred pesos, all the sweet treats can be yours for two hours. Yes! It's an eat-all-you-can buffet restaurant. Here are some of the desserts that we have tried:

Crepe, shake, pie, cake... name it and they've got it! But for my final verdict, I would only give it three stars out of five (3/5).

As a sweet tooth, I was expecting the treats to be really delicious and sweet BUT THEY WERE NOT! As a matter of fact, some of them were tasteless and the rest was just okay. All in all, the gastronomic experience was not so phenomenal. An unlimited serving of desserts was a first so I guess it's what got my hopes up high. But for those who are not really into very sweet snacks and drinks, then this might be the perfect place for you.
